This workshop explores a strategic approach for an effective transition to employment empowering you to be successful on your first day, on your first week, on your probation period and beyond.

Topics such as: Job retention, on-the-job learning curve, employment on-boarding process, workers’ rights and responsibilities; and how to position yourself for advancement are an integral part of the session.

THE EMPLOYMENT NETWORK
This interactive session gives practical advice about what networking is all about; and, how to tap into the power of networking.

At the end of the session you will have taken the first steps to network effectively, efficiently and with more fun. You will learn to network with the right attitude and mindset so you will attract the right people. You will also discover what the “Employment Network” is, how network referrals work, and how to answer the network question "And what do you do?" in a way you will be remembered.
