Name of Position:           Customer Service Representative

Location of work:   Pickering

Job Description:     The successful candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic, challenging and rewarding environment, developing strong relationships with clients.  As a key member of the client service team, the customer service representative is responsible for addressing client’s incoming calls and inquiries. Minimum 1-year of customer service experience is preferred.

Compensation:      $14.25/- per hour

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position

Description of employer:  The Employer is a professional services firm that specializes in a whole-home water filtration system.

Responsibilities: This includes the following, but is not limited to:

• Answer incoming calls and making outbound calls to schedule and confirm appointments
• Ability to deal with varying client personalities
• Ensure timely and accurate client responses
• Ability to assist clients effectively by solving customer disputes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Discuss products offered and ensures customer satisfaction
• Outgoing personality with strong people skills
• Complete supporting paperwork and data entry as required
• Maintain and update client files
• Accuracy and an eye for detail to capture all client information
• Create and maintain service reports
• Any other duties assigned by the manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS – All applicants meeting the following requirements would be preferred:

• Minimum 1-year prior customer service experience would be preferred
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalency
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to multitask
• Handles confidential financial and personal information appropriately
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail, organization and interpersonal skills are required
• Self-organizing and able to multi-task
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Duties as otherwise assigned
