Full-Time, Contract – Maternity Leave (3-12 Months) with an opportunity for Full-Time.

Job Description

As a Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be bringing in new clients to the company. Working with the President and other senior management, you will develop a pipeline of opportunities in Canada and Globally, based on specific targeted industries or geographic locations identified. Throughout the sales cycle you will make frequent attempts to grow your pipeline by finding new prospective business, while also maintaining your existing pipeline, by regular following-up attempts to book calls/meetings.

Role and Responsibilities

Source new sales opportunities through outbound lead generation and follow-up by prospecting, cold calling and other methods

Progress deals to closure by guiding clients through their buying process

Team with Company  leaders to build pipeline

Conduct thorough research, identify key player(s), and conduct all sales interactions with thoughtful and engaging messaging

Represent Company  in a professional manner during all client interactions

Weekly reports and CRM updates

Minimum Requirements

1-3 years of sales experience

Ability to travel and attend meetings (access to a vehicle)

Capable of working 100% remotely

A persistent self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision

Skilled in financial analysis, business operations, consultative sales, presentations and organization/documentation

Superior people and communication skills including active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, service orientation, persuasion, delegating, coordination, oral and written communication.

Operating industrial sewing machines such as; single-needle, blind hemming machine, serger and button tacking machine

Cutting and assembling drapery panels, roman blinds, and other home decor items such as valances and duvet covers

Checking the quality of materials before sewing to ensure they are up to quality standards

Requirements

Experience with home decor weight fabrics, pattern matching, zipper and piping installations.

Industrial sewing machine experience is required, preferably in a production setting

2-5 years sewing experience

Experience sewing window treatments preferred

Must have strong English
